An identifiable image is considered personal data and must be handled in accordance with data protection principles.

Parental Photography at Events

Parents are welcome to take photos and videos at school events, in line with Cambridgeshire County Council guidance.

We ask parents not to share images online if they include children other than their own, to respect everyone's privacy.
School Policy on Images

Digital images support learning and are used for educational purposes.

Staff may take photos or videos using school-owned equipment. Personal devices may only be used in exceptional cases with prior Headteacher approval.

Staff educate pupils on the risks of sharing images, particularly on social media.

Pupils must not capture or share images of others without their consent.
Use of Images Online and in Publications

Only carefully selected images are used on the school website or in publications, following best practice.

Pupils’ full names are never published alongside images on public platforms.
Parental Consent

Parents have the right to withhold permission for the use of their child’s image.

If you do not consent, please inform the school in writing.

Unless informed otherwise, we will assume parental consent for publishing children's images in line with our policy.
