We recognise the important role that Religious Education plays in the personal development of our pupils. Whilst it has a particular contribution to their spiritual development, it also promotes the moral, social and cultural development of children.
At Hauxton we believe that knowledge is key to understanding the world outside of school, to be critical thinkers and to understand other cultures, beliefs and backgrounds. In Religious Education we aim to provoke challenging questions, encourage children to explore their own beliefs, enable children to build their sense of identity and belonging and teach children to develop respect for others.
